Lately and with the launch of new interaction websites, one can notice that in most industries individuals and customers showed high interaction over the Internet. Pharmactives was lately interested to look into the details of the search done by pharmaceutical professionals, and was hoping to find a trend as to what people are looking for.

Google was selected as the search engine in study, and would like here to point out that what was done is not a research where we can jump to extreme conclusions, but results show basically some findings.
Pharma and pharmaceuticals have gained the highest hits; people are mostly looking for general information about the industry. Might be this, or they still do not know that being specific on search engines would help to get the right answer. Pharmaceutical companies was also one of the words looked for by companies and professionals.

Pharmaceutical industry in India, pharma news, raw materials and intermediates, clinical trials and GMP compliance were among the search words.
Search engines is one of the ways to find information or links to website, although sometimes you get stuck with piles of links to check and most of them are without relevance.

A good way is also to approve one portal which collects information that you need and provide links to useful website.
All ways will lead to results, but I would highly recommend doing this through an approved site or partner, as this will save you time of searching, evaluating and analysis.
