In spite of being relatively a young company, Cristalia had a fast growth path, and currently is GMP Certified and ranked 2nd. in sales of formulations to the Brazilian hospital segment. In the year 2000, Cristalia reached a turnover of US$ 133,1 million.

Besides of selling to the Brazilian market, Cristalia also exports its products to several Latin American, Middle Eastern, Asian and African countries, and, keeps distribution and licencing agreements with big multinationals such as Rhodia/U.K.(Isoflurane), Halocarbon/U.S.A.(Halothane), DuPont/U.S.A. (Tridil, Revia, Brevibloc, Viaspan), Sclavo/Italy (Blood Derivatives), Medeva/U.S.A. (Enflurane), Richter/ Hungary (Vincristin), Biolyse/ Canada (Paclitaxel), for importing and distributing their products in Brazil.
